St. Mary’s Foodnet is on Saturdays at 11:30 am.

NOTICE: During the basement restoration period, the Foodnet at St. Mary will be temporarily relocated to the First Baptist Church (1340 K Street). This change in location will be until further notice. The food distribution will be held at our regular time (11:30 am).

Anyone who wants or needs food is welcome to attend Foodnet. There are no income or need requirements, and no personal identification is needed. We do keep track of how many people attend each week and how many people are being served (via size of household) by having participants sign in. Many of those who come to our Foodnet site do so every week and live nearby. Some participants attend multiple Foodnet sites each week to save money on food purchases.

St. Mary Parish has hosted Foodnet since July 2010. The Foodnet team can always use volunteer help. The Saturday time commitment is mainly between 10 am and 12:30 pm. Even once a month or part of the time frame is helpful. Youth who are able to lift and carry boxes are always welcome! To arrange any Foodnet volunteer time, please contact Kathy Johnson through the parish office.
